Bernadette and Robert
A nicer couple you could not hope to meet – shame the weather didn’t match them or their personalities. Wedding took place in St Patricks Church in Shotts which luckily had an interior that was fairly photogenic and allowed a few alternative pics to be taken together with the standard family shots. Visited Bride at her house and the Bridesmaids were great – well the youngest one was as she acted as my ‘technical assistant’ i.e. infill reflector holder whilst I was in the house.
My better half was at the church taking pic’s of the Groom as he arrived plus photo’s of the guests in their finery.
Had hoped to use the gardens after wedding, but as it was teaming down, was restricted to church and the reception in the Station hotel Shotts. Did most in the church as a pre recce of the hotel revealed that there was nowhere to really do any shotts without some kind of background distraction in place.
However, got most of what we needed and Bernadette and Robert seemed more than pleased, which is the most important thing. The Station Hotel in Shotts were also very accommodating and helped a great deal with organising and re-arranging tables for us.
